Description
Why would I be great to live with ? It’s actually a great question and one that I’ve never been asked before, so here goes…
After graduating from UC Davis in 2004, I did a number of things work wise, including real estate, software sales, worked for FedEx Office, and I’ve had a few other jobs along the way as well. I moved down to Los Angeles for the past 3 years looking for that “clean slate” and literally just came back up here about 3 weeks ago. The old adage stating “no matter where you go, there you are” definitely rings true, as the more time went by, the more I found myself missing the Bay Area.
Career-wise, I know what I want to be doing and that is getting back into the tech industry, which is why I came back up here.
Please pardon the tangent I’ve been on, and I’ll get back to the original question. As far as why I would make a good roommate, I can say for certain that I do everything in my power to treat people the same way that I would like to be treated. I think people say this a lot, but I literally try to practice it every single day in all or at least most of my actions. I think it’s one of the most important and positive character traits that I possess. I have also been told that I am a very good person with a heart of gold, am sensitive, have a lot of empathy and compassion, and am always trying to learn from others, and help whenever I can. I believe that I am an effective communicator, which comes in handy when you live with others, and I typically avoid conflict, though that’s where the effective communication comes in handy. I really do get along with people most, if not all of the time. I have a mellow disposition and kind of just go with the flow. I really do believe that I would be a good fit in any home , especially if my roommates are clean, compassionate, care about the people around them, as well as themselves, and respect each other.
Additionally, I am neat and enjoy a clean kitchen, and like the small town feel of Alameda, which also allows me to be close to my parents.
