I work in the Finance department of a Non-Profit providing services to youth experiencing houselessness. Something that is very important is a belief in LGBTQ+ rights as well as racial/gender/and economic equity. I am a Straight cis white male but I am an ally and my work can get extremely stressful and is very emotionally charged due to the population we serve. When I’m home, I don’t have the patience for people to talk down about the youth I work with. Fox news is a big no-no…
I work 9-5 Mon - Thurs so I am home quite a bit. Currently I live by myself but my lease is up end of March and my landlord wants to up my rent to $1350, which is not worth the apartment I live in.

K serious stuff is out of the way so here’s some stuff about me. I’m goofy and a big nerd, but like a nice nerd, not the mean ones. I’m a very positive person and love to joke around. I’m a music lover so usually will have some form of music playing, or I’ll be playing an instrument, but I’m cool with headphones if it ain’t your jam. I prefer to go out to hangout with friends so I rarely bring people over. Most of the time I just keep to myself at home but I’m down to kick it too if you’re looking for more of a hangout roommate.

I do have a registered esa dog. She takes a minute with strangers (Which makes her a great guard dog) but once she knows someone isn’t going to murder us, she becomes extremely affectionate. Being down for dog cuddles is a must for anyone I live with as my dog could cuddle 24/7 if you let her. She does love playing with other dogs but it’s best to have separated space for quiet time if you have a dog. She is fascinated by cats and has lived with them and has never had a problem with them. She’s a pit/lab/boxer/god knows what else (She was a street dog and is just a straight up mutt) She has white short hair and sheds quite a bit… but everyone falls in love with her immediately.
