Hi!

My name is Wednesday (she/her), and I’m a 33-year-old gray Ace cis lady. I’m looking for both an apartment and roommates. I work in the Medical District, so I’m looking for something off of the Blue Line, or off of the 126 Jackson Bus, or off of the 50 Damen Bus. My budget is pretty low ($400-$500), so I’m looking for 2-4 roommates. I currently live in West Garfield Park, and I’m looking in East Garfield Park, West Garfield Park and Austin (It’s not scary over here, I promise!).

Laundry facilities are a need for me. Dogs and cats being allowed is a preference. I don’t currently have any pets, but I’m interested in fostering. For a 3-bedroom, 1 bathroom is fine, but for a 4-bedroom or 5-bedroom, I prefer 2 bathrooms. Also, I prefer having a bathtub and shower over just a shower.

I’ve actually found an apartment that fits this description, and I’m wondering if anyone would like to go look at it with me. It’s in Austin off of both the Blue Line and the 126 Jackson. It’s near Cicero and Jackson. It’s a 3-bedroom, and the rent is only $1450, so it would be less than $500 per person. There are laundry facilities, and dogs and cats are allowed. From the pictures it looks like one of the bedrooms is a master bedroom with it’s own bathroom. Then there’s a medium bedroom and a small bedroom that share another bathroom. So maybe the person with the master bedroom and private bathroom can pay a bit more, the person with the medium bedroom can pay a middle price, and the person with the small bedroom can pay the least.
