Hi there. My partner and I have to move at the end of May/June and we are looking for a room or an ADU. I am a female in my early 30s and work full time as an environmental engineer. My partner is a male, also early 30s, and works full time as a gardener at the Cal Poly Pomona Lyle Center for regenerative studies. We are looking for a place that has a backyard that can be used for gardening and keeping chickens for eggs; we also have one cat. Food sourcing is very important to us so we like to grow our own vegetables/fruits whenever possible, and keep chickens to have fresh eggs. Due to food sourcing, we don’t eat out much and cook most of our meals ourselves. That being said, unrestricted kitchen access is a must for us. However, we are very clean, respectful, and kind people, and are very comfortable sharing common spaces with other people. If you have an underutilized backyard and wouldn’t mind letting us grow some food for you and letting a few chickens roam on it, we can make a great match!
