I’m 34F and have been in Asheville for 12+ years. SIngle/straight. I’m a social introvert, independent and happy doing my own thing, but also really value a home with a sense of community rather than being strangers (occasional dinners, movie/game nights, etc.). I have been in a number of different roommate/houseshare situations for the past 12 years so I’m very well acquainted with the lifestyle. I like to maintain a clean space but not ocd. I value open communication, kindness and compassion in relating to others, and handle conflict well. I am super considerate of others and their space and expert at being mindful of sleeping people especially considering my night owl sleep schedule (midnight–10ish). I only pretty rarely have people over but am definitely open to hosting small friend gatherings as well so long as everyone is in the loop and on board. But also not into living in a party house.

I run a pet-sitting business, so I’m often away for days-weeks at a time. I don’t bring any animals home. I enjoy all things great outdoors. hiking, cooking, reading, art, and a little gardening. I am generally enjoying a slow, low stress, intentional pace of life these days, focusing on health and self care. Non-smoker, very light/social drinker. I’m very sensitive to cigarette smoke so that’s a deal breaker. Very light 420/vape use outside only would be best. I’m open to well behaved dog housemates but no cats due to allergies.
