Hello all! Thanks for checking out my post. 😊

I am looking for a place to live starting June 1st, or ideally a few days earlier than that.

I apologize in advance for the slightly lengthy description; I figure that it’s better to include more details about myself and what I am looking for rather than less. That way, it’s easier for you to find what it is you are looking for!

I will start with a few details about myself that you might be interested in:

*Honest confession: I am not a neat-freak, but I respect common areas and keep them clean.

*I am open to pets! I don’t have any of my own, but I have no allergies and I love fur babies, especially kitties. ❤️ (Dogs are cool too, I guess… 😁)

*Some fun facts about me:

1. I have a deep passion for music, as it is my career! I am a piano teacher at Mojo’s Music Academy, I play keyboard in a band called Groove Goddess (https://www.instagram.com/groovegoddesscolorado/), and I’m an Administrative Assistant at a bakery.

2. In my spare time, I love to hike, climb, and social dance. I lived and worked at the YMCA of the Rockies for three summers and just fell in love with the Rockies, so I moved to the Boulder county area in February 2024.

Beyond those things, I also like to play the occasional video game and would love to learn a martial art, if I end up having the time and money to do so! If you are into any of these things, then that would be rad. (But it’s not necessary. I can get along with a variety of folks who are into other things, too!)

For the more “business” side of things, here are some quick and dirty details of what I am looking for in a place to stay, as well as in a roommate (or roommates!):

1. Affordable. I am looking for a monthly rent of anything up to $950, ideally lower than that.

2. There should be free OR affordable parking nearby. It can be a part of the place itself, street parking, or something across the street… I can be fairly flexible with this.

3. I prefer female roommate(s), but that’s not necessarily a dealbreaker.

4. I want to live in a relatively safe part of town.

5. The lease (or sublease) CANNOT be a form of joint or joint and several. I say this for both your financial safety and mine, especially considering that we’re meeting for the first time online. (Just setting up some healthy boundaries, y’all! 😉)

6. I’m looking for anywhere to live in the Boulder county area. That could be in Boulder proper, Longmont, Louisville, Lafayette, Gunbarrel, Niwot, or anywhere else within that range/area. I can be flexible with the location.

Beyond that, I am not too picky with where I stay or with whom I room with! I would prefer to be friends with my roomies/housemates, but I will also respect people’s space.
