Carolina Mantero

My name is Maria, I am from Portugal, and I’m in my early 60s. I am spending those months in Santa Barbara to learn English. I lived in Africa for two decades, where I worked as a lawyer. I have two kids, one living in Lisbon and the other in London. Now that they’re both grown and independent, I have decided to reinvent my carreer, and learning English seems to be the perfect place to start. I would describe myself as an extrovert, but always mindful of other people’s space. I love the beach and the sun, hence the choice of Santa Barbara as the place to learn english!
