1. Personal: I reside in Tokyo but I grew up in the bay area during my childhood years and, though a native Japanese, I am fluent in English. I consider SF bay area as my “ real home town“ at heart. I earned my MBA from Cornell University. I used to play the cello in high school, and was part of the varsity water polo team in undergrad-Japan. I am single.

2. Professional: I’ve been in the venture capital and investment banking industries for 15 years with startup endeavors as well. I am currently the founder and CEO for a corporate-startup business accelerator, headquartered in Japan and very active in working along with major Japanese corporations and startups in Silicon Valley. On top of these, I am also a featured guest editorial contributor to 2 major Japanese tech/news media platforms.

3. Why I am “great” to live with:

(*well it will depend on how you define “great” in this context but) I am a quiet, private, very clean individual, never ever smoke, don’t drink, and consider myself respectful and - having a personal connection to a traditional Japanese Buddhist temple - I’ve been taught to be compassionate with a sense of gratitude to others.
