• Respectful; I don’t play music in the house and I wear headphones while watching TV

My two big pastimes are Latin dance and overseas community service, which combine to make me a “low-wear-and-tear” roommate.

I spend many nights each week and most weekends taking group lessons or social dancing at studios or ballrooms. It all occurs outside the house and off the beach. I meet my dance friends out or at their places (because they are closer to the venues). Having guests is a rarity for me.

I’m on the board of a children’s foundation that aids kids who are impoverished in Colombia, Brazil, and the DR. I can consult from anywhere, so I take many two-week trips throughout the year. It’s not uncommon for me to spend a combined three months overseas in a given year. Like I wrote: “low-wear-and-tear.”
