Hello 👋. I’m Kem, a 27 year old FAU student studying for her Bachelors degree in Accounting. I work full time as a vendor relations coordinator in West Palm Beach for a government agency. I will be mostly gone during the day, unless it’s one of my remote days for work which are usually 1 or 2 days per week. I also work at a church as a part time assistant.

Due to our rent increasing this year, my roommate decided to move back home. We lived together for two years and we have a great roommate relashionship (she’s even helping me find a roommate).

My friends would describe me as hard working, sarcastic, analytical, reliable, mature and brutally honest. (Well, the few friends that I do have anyway because I don’t do anything else besides working, studying, and cooking) In my free time, I like to sleep, read, or garden. I love talking and learning about finance/accounting subjects. Financial literacy and retirement are very important to me.

I want my own bathroom. I don’t mind sharing the kitchen. I keep shared areas clean and I do my dishes everyday. Please note that I do cook! If you use a cleaning schedule, I would be more than happy to play my part in order to keep things cleaned and organized.

My budget is $1275 (including lights, water, internet, etc…) and I’m looking to move in late March 2024. I would like my own bedroom and bathroom. I don’t mind cats and dogs as long as they are trained and cleaned.

A few facts about me: I am not into social media, so I’m not on Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and Tiktok. I do not like noises, so if you are someone that’s always having parties and get togethers, we won’t be a good fit. With that being said, I have no reason to be upset if you have parties a few times per month as long as the noise is minimal and I can sleep through it. I have never smoked and I do not want to live with a smoker. I would like to be presented a set of rules and protocols if you choose me as your roommate. That way, everything is clear and understood by all parties.
