29-year-old female currently living in Hudson, NY. I’ve been working as an engineer in a manufacturing facility and recently made a career change to data analytics. I just accepted a job offer for a position in Manhattan that’s starting December 4th so I’m looking for a place to make my home and hopefully join a community of friends. I’m also working on my master’s degree so between work and school I’m pretty career focused at the moment.

I’m originally from South Africa and I’ve been living in the USA since 2018. Moving into the city is kind of terrifying because I have always lived in suburbs or rural areas, but I’m excited to try something new and see what city life has to offer!

I’m a big nerd who loves reading, video games, board games and dnd. I like to stay active by running, hiking or going to the gym regularly. I enjoy binge watching series or movies on rainy and snowy days! The adventurous side of me loves to explore and try new things - whether it’s food, places, beer or cocktails, cooking something new or visiting museums.

As a roommate I respect people’s privacy, boundaries and general house rules, and I pay my bills on time. I clean up after myself and take responsibility for my share of the chores. I am introverted and enjoy my own space, however, I also enjoy being social, having dinner parties, spending time with friends and being part of a community.
