I’m looking into the idea of finding a roommate once my lease is up—or possibly sooner if things don’t work out here.

A little about me:

• I currently work remotely, but starting in January I’ll be hybrid—two days from home and the rest in the office in Streeterville (Mon–Fri).

• My hobbies include digital illustration (hand-drawn, not AI), watching animations, and playing video games.

• I like to stay active with walks, hang out when schedules line up, and also enjoy relaxing at home.

I’d describe myself as pretty chill and easygoing. I enjoy having my own space, but I’d love to live with someone who’s open to being social now and then—sharing a meal, chatting, or just hanging out. I’m a good listener and think it’s nice when roommates can also be friends, not just people who pass each other in the hallway.

What I’m hoping for in a roommate:

• Good communication (like giving a heads-up if you’re having people over).

• Respect for shared spaces (I don’t mind what you do in your own room, as long as common areas stay tidy).

• Consideration for each other’s routines and needs.

I’ve lived with roommates since I was 18 until i was 32, so I’m experienced and know how to balance personal space with being part of a household. Ideally, I’d like to live with just one roommate, but I’m open to a household of up to three people total. Couples are fine too.
