I’m 45, moved to overland park about a month ago. In nursing for over 22 years on a sabbatical at the moment after COVID I’m done for awhile. I am now working as a assistant manager at the dollar tree. Thought it would be a less stressful job but in the first week of working I was asked to be assistant manager!! It’s been a experience needless to say but always up for a challenge! I moved to Omaha to start a new life. I have one daughter of my own 21 lives in Texas. I can’t wait to have her visit!! She is my best friend and I miss her dearly!! I also raised two other children whom are very special to me! They are all grown and I have a hard time not knowing what to do without being a full time mom. So I pretty much throw myself into work ALOT! I’m ok with that I keep my circle small. I’m pretty much a homebody not one for partying. Don’t mind having a few people over to BBQ or dinner but for the most part I’m always at work. My pride and joy Bella Boo. She is 1 ur and 6mo. She weights abiut 30 pounds. She is a good pup and my best friend I miss my children like crazy but we talk on the phone often. I just want a place to call home. My biggest fear is coming home to an empty house when for years raised a family of 5 and my kids friends so always had a full house. I do not need to be entertained or someone always by my side. Just nice to know someone is there and having someone to share the expense with is nice since I’m starting from scratch. I strive to treat people the way I want to be treated,love thy neighbor. My fav quote. “I am what I am and that’s all that I am.” Said the great philosopher Popeye:) Oh and I love cooking and baking. Fishing,MUSIC!!
