Hello there! James here, thank you for taking the time to read about my situation. I am a very hardworking guy, very neat, clean and quiet, (as well as my very polite Labradoodle, Cooper). But, preaently , I do not fit traditional profile that most realtors, rental management firms/landlords are looking for. But I’m working on it! My credit is not good (600) I do not have multiple rental references and looking to secure housing before getting back into job market. I moved in with my terminally sick mother in 10/2020 after spending the previous 10 years with my partner living in a home owned free and clear. I didn’t work while with my mom because she required around the clock care and Hospice gave her a short amount of time to live. She passed 11/2022. I spent most of the past year working through my grief and settling her estate. I closed in her home 9/30/23. I quickly found I was having a hard time securing a rental because of my credit and I couldn’t prove income. So I end up staying in a 2 star hotel with my lab/poodle pup. $700 weekly I’m spending here. I’m bleeding money, I am so looking to find that security that a more permanent, stable housing situation offers. Presently, I am interviewing with a couple of companies in the Albany and Latham areas. With my professional background, I’m highly employable; finding employment is not a concern for me. Until then, I will be okay living off the proceeds of my mom’s estate. I am professional, quiet, courteous, respectful and very clean. My dog, Cooper is much the same. He’s smart, a lover and super friendly. Gets along with all humans, children and animals alike! Full disclosure here! I really hope to hear from you!
