Hello! My name’s JoJo, I’m 23, and I write and direct for Film and TV.

I graduated from Columbia College Chicago in May of last year, and had lived in LA for a few months before graduation, but ended up moving back to my hometown of Las Vegas to save some money. I just finished producing my own animated adult comedy TV pilot and now that it’s wrapped I’m aiming to move back to Los Angeles!

I don’t have a specific date in mind as far as when I’m moving. I live in Vegas so I travel to/from LA frequently and am always looking at rentals. For right now, I’m looking for people who would be down to move in together so we can start getting to know each other and figuring out where/when we’d want to move.

Here’s some info about my roommate experience/preferences: -I’ve had roommates in the past. I stayed on campus for 3/4 years of college, and have lived in gender exclusive and co-ed rooms. -I like to keep my space tidy and organized. Same for the common areas, but that’s a shared responsibility so we can work on that together! -I love having people over, but only if everybody’s cool with it.
-Communication is a must for me: if we can’t sit down and have conversations when stuff gets hard or when we’re not seeing eye-to-eye, this ain’t gonna work.

And here’s some info about me: -Since I work in entertainment, obviously I love watching movies and TV shows. Also anime, Bolly/Lolly/Tollywood, and international film/tv. Some of my favorites include: Annette, Ted Lasso, Hunter X Hunter, Succession, Babylon, Suits, OMG Oh My God, Three Idiots, Nacho Libre, Vakeel Saab, Hyenas, and Akira. -I’m a big fan of the arts so I’m always on the lookout for new shows, galleries, and experiences. -Love love LOVE live music. Concerts are my jam and I’m always looking for excuses to drag people with me to shows (especially if they don’t know the artist) -Big fashion snob so if we wear the same size you can totally borrow some of my fits. -I love working out. Generally, I like to go to the gym twice a week and then go for a hike on the weekend. -I love smoking weed, but I’m not an obnoxious stoner that smokes all day and stinks up the place. I always smoke outside (usually at night) and make a habit of cleaning up after myself. It’s not a dealbreaker if you don’t smoke, but if you do that’s 10x better. -Very spiritual and love having deep talks
