Mark Goebel About me:

Hi. I am a native San Franciscan who has lived for 25 years, all told in New York. I also lived and studied for three years in Europe and went to graduate school in Washington. D.C., I moved back to S.F. in 2014 to care for my mother, who had dementia, and returned to NYC in September of last year, residing in a coliving apartment since then. My lease ends at the end of Sept.

I am a corporate communications executive and writer.

I have traveled widely and enjoy experiencing other cultures. I studied international relations in graduate school at Johns Hopkins. I love reading about and discussing current affairs, history, economics, finance, philosophy, and various topics. I am a good conversationalist.

I get along with most people and am willing to compromise and understand another person’s perspective. I am neat but not compulsively so. When at home, I enjoy the quiet. I am very respectful of other people’s privacy.
