Hi! My name is Gwen and I’m 23 years old. This past spring, I graduated from UC Davis with a BS in entomology. I just got a job in Tucson doing what I love, so I plan on moving in mid October.

About me: I am LGBTQ+ friendly, nonjudgemental and easygoing. I like to be open, upfront and honest with housemates, discussing and solving issues as soon as they come up. I work hard, stay on top of chores, and make sure to always pay rent and other expenses on time. I try to be as clean and neat as possible, but I’m fine with occasional messiness. The only thing that really bothers me is when dirty dishes pile up in the sink.

I like to have fun and joke around, and I love meeting new people. I do not smoke weed or do drugs. I will have the occasional drink on the weekend, and I use a nicotine vape (though I’m trying to quit). I do not mind whether or not my housemates smoke, drink, or use drugs as long as they are respectful and careful.

In my free time I like to be outdoors, hiking, camping and exploring. I also like producing music on FL studio, watching movies, going on roadtrips and making social media content.

I do not have any dogs or cats, only an adorable crested gecko that I keep in a terrarium (he doesn’t make any noise, mess, or smell) and some arthropods. IMPORTANT: If you have a severe phobia of insects/spiders, we will NOT be a great fit to live together! I keep lots of invertebrates for research and outreach purposes; I collect and pin insects, breed them and photograph them. If this freaks you out, we should not consider rooming together!
