Hi everyone! I’m looking for housemates to move in to a new place late Oct or early Nov this year. My budget is around $1600 but flexible.

About me:

I’m a 30 y/o gay man who just graduated from grad school last year. Currently working at a biotech company in Sorrento Valley. I work in office so won’t be home most of the day. After work, I like to go rock climbing or sometimes bike riding. I also love board games and have a small group of friends to play with.

I have a cat named Milo who has been with me since he was a kitten. He’s a total sweetheart and has made everyone he’s met fall in love with him! He likes to go on walks with me in the mornings and evenings so we will need a place with easy access to outdoor space (i.e no highrise)

As a housemate, I have excellent credit and rental history. I’m clean, quiet, and respectful. I’m easy to be around and always pick up after myself. I don’t smoke and only drink socially.

Place I’m looking for:

I’m somewhat flexible with location but would prefer NP/Hillcrest or the surrounding area that is walkable and bike-able. Alternatively La Jolla or Sorrento valley would also be good as I would be able to bike to work from there.

My only hard requirement for the place itself is a private bathroom. Though I would prefer to have in unit laundry.

(I’m looking at a few places around NP right now that we can check out together)

Who I’m looking for:

I’m looking for other queer or lgbt-friendly, open minded, and easygoing people. Someone who is responsible and organized, ideally a grad student or working professional. I don’t mind if you bring guests over or throw some small parties occasionally as long as you are smart and mindful about it.
