I realize I’m older than the average person looking for a room, but my circumstance is unique and exciting. I am a KC native, but had moved to Albuquerque, NM, two yrs ago to be with family. Then, unexpectedly, I received a phone call with a job offer with an organization I have a great passion for. I am so excited to be coming home! I have a house in Brookside, but it is currently being rented with a lease until August of next year. Thus, I’m looking for a quiet, safe place to live for one year. I am a happy, friendly person and forever optimistic. I am a team player and always willing to help. I am non-intrusive and enjoy my privacy as well. I am educated; an advocate of communitunity health; enjoy the arts (especially live theater); and enjoy reading. I have a little dog (under 12 pounds) who has been my friend for many years. He’s a lot slower these days and mostly deaf and spends most of his geriatric days napping. I am simply looking for a safe environment with respectful roommates. Not a party house.
