I am putting feelers out. Siblings and I sold our childhood home in CA & I moved out to Bullhead City late last year from Cali and staying with sister. I was my Mothers full time caregiver before she passed & just trying to get back to life again. She was my best friend. 🫶🏻 As much as I like living with my sister and her cats and dogs.. This city is definitely not for me. It’s very conservative and there’s not much to do, not many of my favorite food options, and no LGBTQ friendly anything. Even though I’m more of a homebody nowadays, it’s still nice to have options other than the gym , river ,or Walmart. LOL. Only issue I have now is the job I have is remote and it’s only available in the state of Arizona. So I will be starting to look for employment in the Vegas or Palm Springs area soon. Vegas/Henderson is more likely while Palm Springs just seems like a perfect fit being older and gay. (And I’ll be back in a Cali) I do have savings so it’s possible without a job right away but id obviously prefer to have something lined up. I am going to look into remote so will need an option to have Ethernet connection available in the room I rent as most remote customer service jobs require that. (Whether it’s something you have already or that I can have a fiber/cable company set up in the room for me) I am in zero rush and just thinking out loud so thought I’d put this up. Would definitely prefer furnished as I moved out here without furniture. Ideally would be nice to be friends with my roommate as well and not just cohabitants haha. I’m not entirely far from Vegas so meeting before can happen. Not looking for a place with more than 2 other roommates and would definitely prefer own bathroom.
