Hi, I’m Tom, a quiet 50 y.o. man who was a full-time caregiver to a parent with dementia until recently. After my mom’s passing I returned to school to study biotechnology while her estate closed. Unfortunately, I lost the bid to buy her house. Now I’m looking to downsize and find a place to live in the county while I finish my program. When I’m not falling asleep on a textbook, you will find me either baking bread, or building something. I have built small balsa wood airplanes for years, but I am also an accomplished woodworker who can knock out a bookcase or a shelf in an afternoon. I am a non-smoker, a social drinker (I don’t keep alcohol in the house), and I inherited two indoor cats from my mom that are shy and keep to themselves.
