A little about me is that I am a single, Christian, 40 year-old, Black American, professional woman who works in real estate and research industries with a previous career in social work supporting the military and elderly populations in the government contracting and healthcare arenas. I never drink, smoke, or do drugs of any kind; I don’t believe in it, and I am allergic to smoke and strong, overpowering scents. Although I love children, I do not have any at this time because I am not married yet. I helped raise and mentor my nephew and niece. I am sometimes social, but I mostly keep to myself because I work often, meet up with friends, workout at the fitness center, and attend my church at least twice a month. I am private and quiet most times as I do not like loudness or noise. I must always have cleanliness and organization in my living space, and that is how I maintain my bedroom / living space. I am not a pet person unless it is a friendly, domesticated dog or puppy; I love them! However, I do not have any pets or want any at this time. I can not live with a cat; I am allergic! I am more of a plant person. I am very kind and friendly with a very warm spirit and good heart. I am just seeking to avoid a 25+ mile, daily, round-trip commute from Alexandria to McLean, which is why I would like to rent your room. I have rented my current room in a house for nearly 5 years this November 2023, living with 4-6 housemates over the years, but for work purposes, I must be closer to my job by living in McLean. I am never late on paying rent via a bank cashier’s check, and usually pay in full at least 5-7 days before the 1st of every month!
