Hi! I am starting a graduate program at UW in public health this Fall. The semester doesn’t start until September 27th, so I’ve got some time to find a good place. I’ve been living in Columbia City and working in Renton for the past year and a half. I really like South King County and would like to stay somewhere between Central District and Federal Way. But, I also love and would be open to living in Ballard, Interbay, Magnolia, or Redmond.

I am clean and I like to live with clean, tidy people. Not anal people, just people who enjoy and know how to keep house: cooking, cleaning, tidying up on a regular basis. Most importantly, I’m looking to live with one or two other good communicators, who are down to hang out and have friendly chats, but who also won’t be offended if I go grad-student-hermit-mode in my room for a few hours to days.

I really enjoy getting outside for hikes, water activities, longer backpacks and camps, road trips, gardening… I also enjoy yoga and reading. I tend to cook most of my meals, one-big-pot-o-soup-for-the-week style with the occasional fancier recipe.

My budget is between 500-950/mo…although I’d much prefer to stay in the below-900 range.

Lastly, and probably least, I do not have any pets, but I’ve been hankering for a siamese cat for the past couple of years, and I’d love to make that happen sometime soon!
