I would like to find a shared housing situation along Route 7 corridor between Route 286 (Fairfax County Parkway) and One Loudoun so that I can easily visit my elderly mom who lives near Algonkian Regional Park. I’m tidy and organized, respectful, quiet, non-smoker, like to play cribbage, Scrabble, and dominoes, take long walks, swim laps, ride my bicycle. I’m in my 50s, non-smoker. I would rather bake than cook. I’m comfortable with dogs – I had a beagle named Speedy many years ago, then Newman the lab-springer spaniel mix joined the pack, and when he went over the rainbow, Barley the lab-ridgeback-rottweiler mix came along, but I haven’t had any pets of my own for quite some time. Coffee or Tea? Decaf or herbal! Chocolate? Yes, please – preferably dark! Wine? Dry! Diet? Flexitarian Star Wars or Star Trek? Both! Music? Jazz, classical, hip hop (English and German), blues, bluegrass, reggae. I have a fully remote work-from-home job as a database programmer/analyst and a bicycle that I would prefer to store indoors (in a basement or storage room or in a garage). I’m looking for a 3-month agreement because I’m planning to go to Germany in August for a master’s program in translation.
