Hello, I’m currently a part-time graphic designer looking to move back to Laramie, Wyoming sometime this spring. I graduated from UW a few years ago and I greatly miss the town and the surrounding areas. Laramie would be my preferred place to live, but I’d also consider living in Fort Collins, Loveland, or Cheyenne for the right price and roommate(s).

My upper budget limit is around $1000.00 (rent and utilities combined), so that should allow for some nicer options if splitting everything equally. I plan on staying wherever I move for a while and would prefer a roommate that isn’t intending to up and leave anytime soon *(and definitely not before any rental agreement is up).

I’d prefer to live with someone who likes things to be mostly clean and organized like I do. M/F/NB, LGBTQIA+ roommates are all cool with me - the most important thing is that we vibe well. I’m a bit of a homebody and pretty much keep to myself. If we have shared interests we can hang out but if not that’s perfectly fine too.

For a bit of background on me, I enjoy watching films, walking, hiking, bouldering, kayaking, playing video games, making digital and traditional art, reading (especially Philosophy), playing board games, attending lectures, working out at the gym, etc. I tend to be somewhat of a night owl, staying up to at least midnight most days, but I’m quiet and don’t like being a bother to those with different sleep schedules. I’ll occasionally play online games with friends but I don’t get riled up and yell like others tend to. Also, I typically cook, heat up quick microwave meals, and eat out in about equal measure (to give you a sense of potential kitchen messes and dirty dishes).

I’m not interested in sharing a space with someone who likes to party or make a lot of noise regularly. Guests are alright occasionally but not daily. My ideal apartment would be a 2-3 bedroom (3rd bedroom reserved for extra shared storage space or a guest bedroom - if available) with 2 separate full bathrooms. In-unit laundry and dishwasher are highly preferred as well.

I have a bit of communal furniture such as DVD shelves, some small cabinets, and kitchen wares and appliances. I don’t currently have a couch or any typical living room furniture, however, I’d be willing to split the cost of these items with a roommate if they didn’t have their own and wanted a more comfortable communal space.

I don’t have pets but I love cats and dogs and would be okay if potential roommate(s) did, as long as they cleaned up after them, and were able to cover any additional costs for the pet deposit and/or the increase in rental fees.

My desired move-in date is flexible but I’d like to find someplace in late spring / early summer before the students return. I wouldn’t mind teaming-up with someone to look for the right place together that fits both our needs.

420 friendly, vaping okay, drinking okay, but no cigarette or cannabis smoking inside. As long as you’re chill, respectful, and willing to communicate and we should get along just fine.
