Michelle & Carter

Hello! My name is Michelle, I’m 21 years old. My partner and I are currently in a bit of an urgent need for housing.  Our current living situation is coming to an end pretty soon and my partner, our cats, and I, are looking for somewhere affordable and comfortable to stay. Preferably within the Tigard/Beaverton/Portland area. We’re moving from Oregon City, but I’m quite familiar with the area. About us- Me (Michelle): I work as an assistant manager for a corporate company in Tigard. My time usually consists with being at work, at home with my cats focusing a quiet project or doing something that peaks my interest, and spending time out with friends/family. I have the (almost) usual office hours of 10am-7pm, Monday through Friday. I also take a day off during the weekdays every other week and work on Saturday that same week. I am a pretty nice person I’d say. I try to be very understanding and considerate of others and try to live by the golden rule. I am a bit on the introverted side at first, but once I’m comfortable, I’m a huge oddball (in a good way, I’d say). When I’m not out or at work, im quite the homebody. Though, I typically stay pretty quiet and to myself, as I don’t like to cause too much trouble or ruckus. Though, I’m not totally boring, I’m usually down to do pretty much anything fun, within reason. I can make pretty good conversation given the right subject too. Honestly, I find it hard to describe myself with words. I guess, I am just the type of person that you have to know in person to get the vibe. Carter: My partners name is Carter. He is 21 years old, as well. He’s currently employed full time as a sales representative for a local shop near SE Portland. His hours usually are between 8 am to 4pm, 5 days out of the week, with the occasional evening shift or overnight shift, though there is no set schedule. He has a huge heart and spreads a lot of kindness. He is almost always open to conversation and making new friends. A sense of humor is no stranger to him. When it comes to social personality type, he is almost a polar opposite of me. He has an energetic spirit and is very outgoing, with an extroverted outlook on life. Helpfulness is one of his great attributes, Carter’s always willing to lend a helping hand in anyway he can. He is more of a social butterfly person compared to my homebody tendencies, so he most likely would spend a lot of time out in social settings, at work, with friends, or with me and/or our cats :) We also both can be open-minded and very accepting of other’s ways of living. We don’t intertwine with drama and try to be judgement free of others. About our cats: They are pretty tame and tend to keep to themselves. In total we have 3(possibly 4). Their names are KK (Kitty), BK (black kitty), GK (grey kitty), and OK (orange kitty). The oldest, kitty, is an 8 year old female, who is a former outside cat. The youngest, is a kitten that I possibly may need to give up, given our situation. Unless we can find a home where she fits as well, she may not be part of our package, unfortunately. The other two are non-blood related sisters. They just turned 3 years old this year. They’ve never caused too much trouble and get along with other cats for the most part. Kitty is a bit more on the cranky side due to her age and being a former single child and outside cat. She can get a bit feisty at times when her sisters annoy her. but she does no harm as she has socialized to being around other cats. Our black cat is the most social, friendliest, and most curious. She puts on a brave face, but is actually the most skid-dish of the crew. Her grey sister is pretty much the opposite. Just as friendly, but very timid and shy. Once she’s comfortable and happy, she is incredibly sweet and a huge cuddle monster. She also has the softest fur, so cuddling her is like cuddling a soft blanket or plush toy. The orange kitten’s personality is still to be discovered. We’d much prefer for them to be able to roam the home, but are understanding to the needs of others and wouldn’t mind keeping them in our room.
