Hi! I’m Hannah (They/She) I am a thirty-something looking for housing starting in August or September.

I am working FT in the Feeding Hills area as a Vet Receptionist, and am certifying as a Karen Pryor Academy Dog Trainer at the end of July.

I am willing to live just about anywhere within 30ish minutes of Feeding Hills, but have a soft spot for Holyoke. My budget is roughly 1000 for my own place and about 650 for a roommate situation, though both numbers are a little flexible.

PETS: I come with two dogs (Yadi and Eugene) and one cat (Finnick Odair). They’re great and all very social, and could do well with another easy going cat or dog, However: I have a preference for no other pets simply because integrating animals safely is a lot of work, and I’d prefer to be off the clock at home. But the dogs can be happily crated and the cat is brave (if a little foolish) so we can definitely consider other animals. Vet and behavior references are available.

Yadi- 10 year old German Shepherd Mix, expert toy destuffer. About to take his Canine Good Citizen Test, will update when he passes. Is likely the bestest boy. Eugene- 1.5 yo Australian Shepherd. Big fan of treats. Has not yet taken his CGC test because I haven’t registered him yet. He is going through the training certification program with me, and is overall a very good boy learning to do crisis response. Finnick- ??? Dumpster cat extrodinaire. Knows tricks. Loud purrs. Insistent lap cat. Moonlights as a scarf.

COVID: I am vaxxed and boosted and work reception in an industry that deals with a lot of people daily and is so-so on their masking.

SUBSTANCES: I don’t mind alcohol but find it stressful being around lots of drinking. Can tolerate smoking if it’s outdoors, but am a little sensitive to the smell of all types of smokable things.

COOL BUT WHO ARE YOU: great question! I’ve lived with roommates my entire adult life and have found the best success with clear communication and expectations. I operate with the assumption that everyone is doing their best. I definitely prefer a quieter household. (Have done the loud at midnight roommates previously and it was not a good fit.) I’m pretty tidy overall (spot vacuum dog hair every-every other day, have a personal daily chore routine etc) especially in common areas.

I am in the process of setting up my training business to partner with veterinarians and groomers to work on the handleability of pets who need their services. (This is not an in home business! 😉)

I like to read, write, make crappy art and watch good movies. love spending time with my animals and I love having a cozy space. Currently learning to knit!

I also enjoy “being alone together” so working in common spaces and doing our own things but being around other people is nice!
