Hello!

I’m Arif (he/him/his). I’m a 24yo graduate student moving to SF to study at the University of San Francisco. I’m looking for people to find an apartment with. I’ve lived in a few places over the years, including Dubai, India, and most recently Illinois for the last six ish years. I’ve lived with men and women and I don’t have a gender preference for my roommate as long as you’re respectful and communicative. I pick up after myself and keep common spaces very clean and tidy and I’m pretty quiet. I have no pets of my own. I’d prefer to live somewhere within a mile or two of the main campus (so Inner Richmond, Panhandle, NoPa, Haight Ashbury, Cole Valley, Inner Sunset etc).

About me: I love nature and the outdoors, including rock climbing, hiking, camping, stargazing, and just generally being in awe of the world we live in. I plan on exploring the city as much as I can. I’m a curious person and love learning new things, especially when it’s about other people. My other hobbies include reading, lifting weights, cooking, and walking around and listening to music, to name a few. I’ve also traveled a decent bit across the US, Europe and Asia and try to go on road trips and camp/climb outdoors when I can.

Although I enjoy doing things on my own, I’m also pretty extroverted and love meeting new people, going out for drinks, checking out cafes or bars, thrift shopping, concerts/live music, and basically spending time with other people as much as I can. I’m flexible regarding hosting things - I’d like to host the occasional pregame/potluck/movie/game night as well, if that’s cool!
