I have worked in the book industry my entire life, and love to read in my spare time. While I enjoy a good Science Fiction novel, Literature, History, Memoirs, and Philosophy are in my rotation as well. I enjoy listening to old records on my turntable, discovering new music on Spotify, and reading about my favorite musicians. I also have a thing for films from the late ‘60’s and ‘70’s. I like engaging with people in meaningful conversations, but I am quite happy to spend time alone with a good book or my journal and sketchbooks. I’m a tidy person and self-sufficient. I enjoy cooking, gardening, and oddly, dusting while listening to music. I think my friends would describe me as someone who is empathetic to others, funny at times, and easy to talk with. Although I’m originally from Eugene, Oregon, I have travelled extensively and like to meet new people and gain new perspective and understanding of the world we live in. I enjoy watching local sporting events of all kinds, as well as participating in them. I am an English speaker, and can communicate in Spanish, but don’t consider myself fluent in that language.
