Susana & Daniel

We’re an American/Colombian couple (ages 36–39) moving back to Colorado with long-term plans (about two years). I work as an environmental educator and naturalist, and Daniel, my husband, works as a Spanish–English translator.

We’ve spent the last few years living in Colombia, but we’ve already done two seasons CO and completely fell in ove with the state. This time a got a job in Carbondale and we have plans to stay longer and really settle in.

During the week, I’m usually out most of the day for work, and Daniel works remotely. We’re non-smokers, clean, easygoing, and respectful of shared spaces. We enjoy cooking vegetarian food (not strict vegetarians) and keeping a relaxed, friendly home vibe.

We’re very used to shared housing and genuinely enjoy living with others. On weekends, you’ll probably find us hiking, exploring, or enjoying everything Colorado has to offer.
