I’m an experienced roomie, having shared various apartments, rooms, and houses off and on in my younger adult years. I owned a house for a good number of years until my knees rebelled against having to walk down and/or up 3 flights of stairs at various times. Life happens, and I roll with it. While I have adapted well to every type of person and living arrangement in my younger years, now being in the senior citizen category, I’m best suited living with those of you who would welcome a quieter, more slowly-moving “elder” to share housing. I list “6 months” as my length of stay simply because I don’t want to be locked into a year’s lease where incompatibility exists on some level not apparent at first. That includes incompatibility with pets. I am still not sure if Thumper, the rabbit I share a house with now, “approves” of my being here. :) Final note: I’m a PT PhD student at Morgan in Applied Sociology and Social Justice. :)
