I’m an empty nester who retired abroad 30 years ago. Before that, I lived and worked for 20 years in Honolulu for the State Senate, the Mayor of Honolulu and the largest public employee union as Communications Officer. I am presently researching two books I will write, one non-fiction and another fact-based fiction. I need a quiet place to do research for the next 3 months nearby to my old school, UC Berkeley, which I attended in 1967 onward until my studies were interrupted by the Vietnam war. I will divide my time between the Philippines, Hawaii and California while I do my research and writing.
