Hello, I am a 7 year divorced 40+ father of two adult daughters living on their own with a Union career job making 100K/yr working 6 days a week. I am an Old School Soul/R&B songwriter musician and vocalist… NOT a womanizing singer though, lol… I don’t bring strangers home, and I don’t do the hookup scene. I work in Waltham and have established a great friend network in Waltham and I want to stay in Waltham or close to it over the Watertown line or West Newton or something. I’m no super neatnik but I like a functional living space where people take general care of the place and I respect a “next day at the latest clean your dishes/pots and pans rule” and I never leave food scraps in the sink. As a later-in-life 2.0 bachelor , I have developed habits that minimize clutter and cleanup to save time, but again I’m not a neat freak at all. I like investing in outdoor furniture, grills, fire pits, canopies, solar lighting etc to make a great outdoor space to relax and occasionally entertain a few friends. My friends range from 30 to late 50s, good people, mostly musicians and music lovers. I usually only have Sundays off and sleep in then, so I’m not home and around the place much. In good weather I like to take my eBike out for a spin up Prospect Hill, Moody St, and the Charles. 420 household friendly but personally not into toking often, usually only with friends moderately and socially or if I’m feeling under the weather. At that, I usually prefer moderate edibles therapeutically. I enjoy camping and boating but much prefer an AirBnB lake house over tenting it. I also appreciate artwork and I have a fair amount of framed art.

I smoke organic tobacco, and if you have a screen porch or something as a smoking room with a window fan or air purifier, great, but I can’t live in a place that reeks of cigarette smoke. I am fine with smoking outside, and like I said, I’m not home much and I work until 7 PM. My ultimate place has a great private backyard with good trees, more than one bathroom, a nice tub for a sea salt soak–which I will clean regularly for such purposes, a good quality washer and dryer, and laid back, solid good guy roomies with no drama, hangups, passive aggressive tendencies or judgement who mind their own Ps and Qs and are into cooperation and making life smooth and uncomplicated for everyone involved when at Home.
I’m looking for good people with down to earth common sense, appreciation for The Golden Rule, intelligence, laid back fairness and respect of personal space, freedom and privacy who like to have a fun life and don’t mind a dude who sings in the shower.
