I’m currently renting a room through the end of June. Three other guys renting rooms here & everything is great, but the home owner wants to simplify his life by renting the entire house to a family. That’s understandable, even if it means I have to move.

My lease is up July 1, but one roommate is staying til August 1. I could extend til then too if necessary.

I’m flexible on lease length. I can do a year or month to month. I have a stable, secure income so paying rent is never a problem.

I’m open to anyone for a roommate - gender, age, orientation, etc., doesn’t matter to me. I’m not a cannabis user but don’t mind if someone else is. I drink occasionally but not habitually.

I have a relatively recent Turbotenant (preferred by my current landlord) background check.

I’m a responsible, low maintenance person. I won’t be a source of drama & prefer to live with others of similar disposition. I like being in a positive environment & do my best to help create one! I’ve lived with negative, complaining people before and life is just too short for that.

I have a good sense of humor. I genuinely like people & enjoy socializing, but I’m VERY respectful regarding the privacy & boundaries of roommates, so I can keep to myself, too.

I treat a rental as if it’s my own. I happily do my share of chores, keep common areas clean & chip in to buy household necessities. My own room may be cluttered because I’m sorting through things and downsizing, but it won’t encroach on shared space (I promise!).

I don’t have any pets, but I’m great with animals if a potential roommate does. I really love cats & dogs, just can’t have any of my own right now. I’ll hang up and maintain a hummingbird feeder if no one objects to it.

In short, I’m a peaceful, respectful person looking for a stable, enjoyable place to live. What I’d ask for in a roommate is what I offer as one. Thanks!
