Heyo, my name’s Phoenix Sanchez. I’m a 19 year old English and Education double major up at the University of Maine. I was raised on the Big Island in Hawaii and moved to Bar Harbor, Maine when I was around 12. I’m driving to California from Maine this May, and then will live on a fishing boat up in Alaska for 2 months until the Cal Poly Humboldt fall semester starts in the middle of August. I’ve never fished before, and I am a vegetarian so needless to say I’m super excited. I’d say I’m a pretty bohemian dude. I’m super into surfing, reading, running, exploring, skipping rocks, jam circles. I’ve got a steady college savings, and I will be teaching in Arcata as well… my budget is around 850$ a month. I’m looking for a good landing zone for this adventure, mostly will be outside of the house in the ocean. I’ll have a car as well that I’d totally be willing to share to any future roommates.
