I moved to Pioneer and have been rooming with a long time friend from my hometown Pleasanton ca my kids grown and on to their own lives I have been happy to have a companion however no matter how much I contribute (over 5 years) to the household improvements and road access improvements they never get done I’m being user badly I just retired this month and am seeking a more peaceful living situation there is no lease no contract here I was offered a room rent for 600 per month but he would never sign any formal agreement once I got settled and was happy I’ve been paying 2100. Monthly and half or all of the household expenses I’m trying to break free and within the following year move back close to my children I don’t smoke only drink on social occasions I don’t have pets I mostly read really quiet clean old lady friends have invited me to live in their homes fir this fee but they’re too far from my family guess that’s retirement life
