I’m disabled but not completely handicapped. I’ll be 48 next month, who’s too nice for her own good and just trying to survive. I’m a quiet person, who keeps to herself, my boyfriend on the other hand likes to be social. We don’t do drugs, or drink, We do smoke but able to smoke outside. I’m a sweetheart, but that’s gotten me used and hurt a lot in life, so for once, I just want to be left alone with dramatic free roommates and a simple life. My boyfriend had suffered a TBI in Aug and I’m looking for a safe place for him and I to stay. We’re currently on a type budget till he gets SSI approved. We’re clean people who pick up after ourselves and help keep the place clean while others contribute. (Dirty a dish, you wash it, it’s that simple). We don’t have a license, but MTM will take us to doc appt. I use Uber for rides to the bank so I’m able to pay rent. Sometimes if a friend lives close by they can take us somewhere. We don’t mind pets, especially cats but won’t deal with big aggressive dogs or small annoying ones who will destroy my things.

I’m on SSI, I currently rent a room for $600 water and electricity is included. I pay a roommate $10 to use their wifi. Washer and dryer is $5 a load here. I do a load once, maybe twice a month if that. So, about $620 is the max I’m willing to pay for a room, only if wifi and laundry is included. We don’t keep the lights on and we don’t keep the tv on. If you expect me to clean after other’s or do outdoor chores, I expect money off my rent. (I’m not a maid or a landscaper). We’re only renting a room, and sharing a bathroom and kitchen with others, NOT claiming I own the house and property. Too many room-renters and slumlords taking advantage of others for their own personal gain. Knowing darn well they don’t need the additional money. So, why would someone looking for a roommate do the same.

**And for the love of baby Jesus please have your home and belongings bed bugs and roaches FREE! If you’re an addict or alcoholic, in and out jail don’t bother reaching out. If you’re someone who has an addict or alcoholic in the place.. don’t reach out. I also won’t deal or associate with sex offenders.
