Hello!

I am a young professional male age 27. Currently working in Springfield, VA and looking to move closer to work (currently in Silver Spring, MD). I thought I would throw this post out there in case anyone is seeking a roommate and thinks I would be a good fit. Here is a bit about me and some relevant details about what I am looking for:

I am looking for a sublet for at least 6 months, possibly/potentially longer. Looking to move as soon as possible. My general price range is somewhere in the neighborhood of $700- $800, but I would consider paying a bit more if its a really good fit. I can absolutely provide references and proof of income. Hoping to find something within a 30 minute commute to/from Springfield area. I am easy to get along with, respectful, and have tons of experience living with roommates and navigating roommate related situations. I am clean, responsible, respectful, and a good communicator. I definitely like to cook, but not every single night. Most days I will be at work for the better part of the morning through evening. Not a “neat freak” but definitely looking for roommates who like keeping a clean house.

One or two nights a week I might go out and come back late, but most nights I would spend in. I enjoy going for hikes and going out to concerts. I won’t throw parties or have lots of people over, but would occasionally have over a friend or two, and potentially have an overnight guest every once in a while. Mostly I am pretty laid back and relaxed. Not looking for a “party house” (been through college so that part of my life is over), but no problem with a house that occasionally has responsible parties or get-togethers. Definitely into meeting new people. I am not a drug user or cig smoker, I will occasionally have a couple of beers or a glass of wine. Not much into 420 these days, but totally 420 friendly if that’s your thing.

I play guitar, and would absolutely love to live with other musicians. However, this is not a must and I can play guitar with headphones. I also get along with and have experience with pets of all kinds, love cats and dogs. I really enjoy gardening, so a backyard would be awesome and I would definitely do more than my fair share of yard work. I also have lots of kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom stuff to provide if needed. Don’t need anything furnished already, but I will check out an already furnished room if that’s what ya got.
