Hey 👋🏾 So I’m wanting to do some major things this year which will require me to do some aggressive saving and let’s just face it…rent is too high and I’m still trying to live my best life 🙄

My current lease is up the first week in April. I’m looking to find a roommate to rent a nice 2/2 apartment (preferably upgraded with elevator access). I prefer the Dallas/Addison area but am open to Farmers Branch, Carrollton, Lewisville/The Colony (near grandscape), Any of the “Districts”, Uptown/Downtown/ SMU/Mockingbird area. Id like to stay under 1100 month including fees but may bend a little for location and amenities.

I’m a single 47 yr old professional and a true Ambivert at heart but lean heavily towards introvert with people I don’t know. I do have my circle of friends (varied age ranges)that I’m very active with. I’m not your typical 40+ yr old (Im the epitome of the rich auntie vibe but w/out the Auntie part😏). Im not old school nor do I act as such. You’d normally find me at a brunch, attending fun activities/events with my friends around the city. I enjoy traveling, staycations, weekend travels, trying new restaurants, concerts learning to jam skate and last but not least, I mind my business. When at home, I look at it as my safe space to unwind and have my me time.

I do not have any pets but am okay with cats/dogs. I am a clean person and want the same for shared spaces. I do not smoke (outside of Hookah when out sometimes) and I drink socially. I’m not hung up on making friendships etc because my reasoning in doing this is to reach a financial goal, so we can be friends or we can treat this like a business transaction as i’m not opposed to either. You’d probably won’t even know I’m there anyway unless you catch me in the kitchen/living room from time to time. As long as you’re clean, able to be approved for an apartment (no rental history issues), pay your portion of the bills on time we’re good! I can get along with any age group and don’t care if you’re the “it girl” or the introverted genius! I respect everyone’s personality/path 🙂
