I’ve also accepted a position as a Program Support Specialist in Seattle (starts early August), so I’m hopeful to find a place so this can work out! I had something lined up, but then just found out someone else got the room.

Looking to move soon as next weekend!! (7/30)

I’m looking for a room to rent anywhere between Duvall, Mercer Island, Issaquah, and Sammamish.

$1,000 is what I’m hoping to cap my monthly cost of rent AND utilities, but I’m willing to consider paying more if the circumstances of the place, location and landlord is the right fit. $1,300 is my cut off.

I’m looking for a communal living arrangement where we’re all like-minded in going after our own personal and professional goals, and share similar values in how we run the household (desire to do things together like build a garden, compost, recycle, split up chores, have brunch or dinner together, or host a game night on occasion and the like).

I’m hopeful to have my own room and bathroom (I’m quite particular with the cleanliness of a bathroom, if you’re able to be clean and keep it organized, then I’ll consider sharing). Otherwise, I’m open to sharing everything else!

I’m Deaf-Hard of Hearing, so having housemates that’s open and on-board with having a disabled housemate is a plus (and even more so if you already know or want to actually learn sign language). I have hearing aids I use; I’m a total communicator where I’m bilingual and switch frequently between sign language and audible speech (along with lipreading) with non-signers.

I’m also open to trade labor for rent as well.
