I PREFER a bills-paid, unfurnished or semi-furnished, private room with en suite bath & private entrance in a secure environment. I need parking for 1 small sedan, preferably off-street. My move-in date is flexible, as I will give 30-60 days’ notice where I currently live, once a move-in date got my new home has been confirmed. The living situation in which I am currently has become untenable, leaving me in a bit of a bind.

I work 100% remotely and my employer requires me to have hard-wired fiber optic internet, so ***I WILL NEED TO BE ABLE TO HAVE MY OWN INTERNET SERVICE INSTALLED — AT MY OWN EXPENSE, OF COURSE. I DO REQUIRE A QUIET WORK ENVIRONMENT AS WELL, as my job involves being on the phone with clients for 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday. I support a client in Florida, so MY WORK HOURS ARE 6:00 am - 2:30 pm Pacific. A private entrance as well as a small area, such as an alcove or small den, in which I could set up my desk with 2 large monitors would be THE DREAM, but the lack of either or both is NOT a deal breaker.

I’m quiet, clean and tidy, respectful and courteous. I believe in tolerance, peaceful coexistence, understanding, empathy, love, unity, and harmony. I’m spiritual but not religious. I’m cis-gendered and straight, but accepting of all identities. I do consume cannabis medicinally, but I’m more than willing to do so in a designated outdoor area if it bothers my housemates.

Due to a medical condition, a private bath is very important. I have a full 1-bedroom apartment’s worth of furniture and accoutrements but, depending upon my cost for rent, I can store what’s not needed. I keep to myself & am a homebody, though I would like the option to have a guest over occasionally. I don’t mind household chores and I am a very good cook!

My 10ish year old cat is a Certified Emotional Support Animal under the ADA & Fair Housing Act (verification letter available). He is indoor only and talkative, but well behaved, non-destructive, and friendly. He would be kept confined to my quarters, unless he would be welcomed by my housemates and in any common areas.

The price I have listed is my maximum with utilities included. I’d be willing to do light housekeeping and/or cooking in exchange for reduced rent or included utilities.
