I am now officially retired but I have one last briefing with Homeland Security later this month. I am looking for a furnished room with a desk so I can finally complete a book I started writing almost 10 years ago. I also want utilities included. I prefer NOT to live with a couple who have children since they tend to fight and I like to laugh . I am extremely clean almost to the point of OCD. I am looking for a house with A/C. I have never lived in an apartment or condo. I like a backyard since I grew up on 3 acres of property. I may go back to work after I am done writing . I am easy going and not fond of drama queens or gossip. I look forward to meeting new people and a few reasons why I am leaving San Diego are gas prices, insurance and tags are higher here, than LA or SB counties. I have 3 Children the youngest one lives in a house that I bought that is paid for, another one is living in a house that I own 1/2 of ,so she and her husband can have very affordable payments and the oldest has house that is now paid off. From time to time I help them out but they know I’m not their ATM . So when friends ask why don’t you buy another house , I simply laugh and shake my head no thanks I would rather rent and let someone else deal with the hassles of their dreams. Mine have all come true ! My kids didn’t need wait till I died to get a their inheritance and they can never borrow money against the homes that live in or sell it, They can only rent it out . The questions about length of stay and pets - No pets and I am not sure exactly how long it could be a year or 10 to many factors involved. My favorite was The Budget I put 1,000.00 well I’m may be paying more but I can still dream. As far Background checks well my last DOJ one took 7 minutes for it come back- my DOD one took 2 hours and my TWIC took less than 24 hours and they generally take 3 weeks to six months since it is done by Homeland Sercurity and it’s the granddaddy of checks…..I don’t even have to go through airport security to fly within the United States. Most of these sites are only checking for evictions and nothing else just like a management company for rentals.
