Martha

I am Martha (she/her, 29), and I am planning a research stay at the UCB/ERG in upcoming spring, specifically from the 15th of January till 9th of April 2023 (so, almost 3 months). I am searching for a room for this time: Best in a shared flat (but open to other options), but definitely a private furnished room. I receive a scholarship and therefore have no trouble paying the rent nor deposit. I have about 10 years of experience living in shared flats and would describe myself as a somewhat quiet, friendly and tidy person. I like animals, but I do not bring my own. I think it is nice to share some food or a movie together once in a while, but I do not need it to keep busy and content. Personally, I am following a vegan diet, but I do not care about what others eat. Also, I am quite a foodie and am used to cook for multiple persons ;) During my time in Berkeley I will do some research on justice in energy system modelling for my PhD. Apart from that, I am planning to check out the Bay Area and National Parks – I love hiking.
