I am 66 year old professional with my own business providing case mgt. recovery support services for adults and their families in Marin County. I have worked in MH field for 30 years, last 23 years in Marin County. First as Program Director with Buckelew Programs, opened my own business 15 years ago. I am Slowing down preparing for retirement. I am quiet, non smoker, non drinker, no drugs this includes Cannibus. I am fine if others choose to indulge as long as home is quiet. I am in good health, active, member of JCC health club for swimming, sauna and soaks. I enjoy hiking, walking my dog, (dog is optional as I have a family member in Marin who can take the dog. And I can visit to take walks. I wouldn’t use a shared kitchen too often. I usually eat lunch out with clients and snack in the evening. My wife and I are separating after 22 years of marriage. We are very cordial about this. In couples therapy we found that we have very different outlook and plans for retirement living. I am happy to sign lease and committ to minimum 6 months as I prepare to sell my business or simply make referrals of remaining clients a families to associates in the field or a member of my staff. I need a peaceful quiet room and home to organize and plan this life transition. I have alot support in the community from friends, professionals in my field and family members in the Bay area. I do have a 27 year old son living with his lover/partner working in Boise Idaho as an attorney. I try and visit him as much as possible.
