I’m Martin (he/they) and currently live in west Santee (and am only posting this if my current situation can’t find 2 more roommates; message me for details about a private bedroom in Santee!).

I am 24 years old and nonbinary, and would prefer to live with other LGBTQ+ people or allies, but really don’t mind anyone as long as they are within 20 years of my age, and can respect me. I graduated university in 2021, and currently work two part time jobs: one at a boba shop in Santee and another at Grossmont College. I don’t have a car, so I would prefer living close to either/both of these places, or close to public transportation that can take me there.

Pets are alright with me, though I don’t own any; I can be pretty shaken up by active animals, but I tend to keep to myself anyways so I don’t have a problem (so long as they don’t enter my room(also I’d really prefer a private room as opposed to a shared one)). I would really want to live in a place where all roommates clean up after themselves, or otherwise keep the communal areas generally tidy/inviting.

Despite really wanting a clean place, ideally I see myself staying in my room 75% of the time. I know some people are looking for friendships in their roommates, but I really don’t mind if you just want somebody to fill a space to meet rent. I have a partner that would be visiting once or twice a week, or more depending on other factors. I would only have them as an overnight guest about once a month.

Also, some random information to make me more human: I understand and speak Tagalog and Japanese; I’m super anxious and non-confrontational; I have a weird relationship with my family that makes me really want to avoid moving back in with my parents; I sing/make music and will only do so when I know no one is home because I’m easily embarrassed.
