I am looking to rent a medium-sized unfurnished bedroom in a house with private/shared bath, and shared kitchen/laundry. My desired length of stay is 8-18 months. My budget is 400/month for 1 bedroom with shared bath and 475/month for private bath (bills included). Security deposit not to exceed 300. I have some major expenses coming up in the next 12 months including 2 dental crowns and a replacement hybrid battery for my car so I can’t exceed those amounts. A little bit of extra storage room would be appreciated as well like in a garage or shed for my work tools. They are packed and organized in stackable totes and toolboxes so they would take up very little room. I only have a bedroom set worth of furniture plus a few side tables. Would prefer a safe neighborhood where I can have Amazon packages delivered without the fear of them being stolen. I am looking to stay with honest and responsible people, no party animals. I don’t drink, smoke, or use drugs. I am comfortable being around people that do as long as they are respectful. I don’t personally have a pet, but wouldn’t mind if you had cats/dogs as long as there isn’t constant barking.

I am a 32-year-old male. Kind, quiet, respectful, and trustworthy. Clean. Good steward. I have good credit and am prompt with all payments and willing to pay 4 months of rent upfront in good faith. If we agree on $400/month, I would hand you $1600 upfront. If we agree on $475/month, I would give you $1900 (plus deposit). I have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, although I am currently working as a self-employed handyman. My long-term goal is to transition back into professional work again. I keep a peaceful home life - no loud music or staying up late. Aside from an occasional friend visiting, I wouldn’t be having any kind of people coming over or coming/going. No girls staying the night either. I have a good rental history and can provide verifiable character reference letters from my former landlord, a former employer, and various members of my home church. I also have an active spiritual life and volunteer through different organizations and participate in different ministries.

As a handyman, I am skilled in doing various repairs and have a good assortment of tools. I can replace outlets, fans, ceiling lights, sinks, patch drywall, paint, etc. My work is clean and always done the right way. I also have experience in servicing heating/air equipment and can do landscaping. I can fix/replace whatever is needed in exchange for credit towards rent at a very fair rate. As soon as I am settled in, I would also be happy to contribute my time as it’s available for free for different tasks around the house. I don’t mind helping out. I’ll always clean up after myself and would be happy to share in the household responsibilities.

I do realize that my budget is small and a bedroom in your home could probably be rented for more than I could pay. I can promise you though that you wouldn’t regret opening your home to me. There won’t be any kind of problems or drama from me. I could even prove to be a blessing to your life. I would sincerely appreciate somewhere stable to live and I would show that appreciation with the utmost respect.
