Hey! I’m James and I’m all about leaving a small footprint no matter if I’m staying at a friend’s house or even in my own dwelling. I prefer maintaining a cozy dwelling that is both very clean and very safe so we can actually thoroughly enjoy the space we are renting together. I’m only as social as you want to be and I don’t ‘push it’. Your space is your space and we gotta respect the hell outta each other in to make it all work smoothly. I don’t smoke at all but it doesn’t bother me if you’re more 420 than most. I don’t even drink by myself because it’s just depressing to me haha

Slightly embarrassing but I don’t cook because I kinda can’t lol so I prefer my meals be delivered via the meal-delivery service, “Freshly”. I don’t even use silverware or dishes because I always buy disposables so any mess in the kitchen isn’t me unless I made mac n’ cheese for us both to enjoy! (I always love sharing food). But I enjoy maintaining a clean, welcoming environment in the event that I might have my girlfriend come spend the night when she’s in town (she lives in NJ and is always busy so we see each other maybe once a week).

I won’t beat around the bush, I really can’t stand a bathroom that doesn’t feel extremely sterile. It’s very important to me that a room feels fresh and welcoming. Like, it doesn’t even matter to me if no one is coming over—I like where I live to always be ready for company even though I am mostly an introvert and really don’t have anyone over anyway. Never shy though!

(Also, can we all just admit that filling one of these out feels like typing up a bio for an online dating profile?? Lol like, honestly.)

I absolutely hate it when I have any kind of outstanding debt with anyone, no matter if it’s monetary or just the debt of a small favor. It doesn’t matter if it’s a close friend or even someone I’ve hired for this or for that—I always make sure to get payment squared away as quickly as possible. Otherwise it just feels like it’s ‘looming’ over me and I just gotta get it done so I can focus on more important things. Paying rent late is unacceptable to me. I’ve never been late paying it and that obsessive spirit I have about my finances is why I’ve been able to maintain a high credit score for all these years; I don’t believe in having looming debts like that so I get them squared away and have my bills paid as early as possible.

I’ve had roommates in the past and I’ve made many friends along the way! One important thing I’ve learned to do (aside from rent being paying paid in full and on time) is to balance a welcoming environment of cleanliness while respecting the space of whomever I am sharing it with. I stay out of things that don’t concern me. Mostly because if they don’t concern me, I really couldn’t care less about whatever it might be haha I have enough going on in my life than to stick my nose in other people’s business or start drama and waste everyone’s time and energy, including my own!

I keep to myself and I don’t sweat the small stuff. Extremely drama-free and always down for short drives to get snacks and watch good movies or just play my PS5. But most of the time really, I’m just on YouTube or working on editing photos from my most recent shoots with clients as I am a photographer of 12 years’ experience so if you need a good profile pic for your socials, I totally got you!
