After serving as founding principal for 14 years, I turned in my keys at Bard High School Early College Queens, and have started a new chapter. Well, if not new, at least it’s been a while. I am now getting back to my roots as a biology researcher. I am working/volunteering in a lab at Harvard Med/Boston Children’s for 18 months, before heading back to Bard’s main campus in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY, where I will teach and start a new research program. For my first six months, I am happily staying with a friend in Coolidge Corner and am taken with the charm of the neighborhood bookstore and movie house and general feel. For the year from February 2023 - Jan 2024, I would enjoy staying somewhere with a similar feel.
