I’m Byron. I am a proud Bostonian, born and raised in Boston. I am a recent divorcee of a 21 year marriage. My friends would describe me as easy-going, quiet, analytical, kind, and gentle. In my free time, I like to spend my time outside, either alone or with others. On the weekends, I often enjoy working out, playing, or watching sports. I have one full-time and two part-time jobs. I work as an Early Childhood Educator Mentor/Coach, Skills Worker, and Behavior Technician. I work an 8:am-4:pm schedule Monday-Friday. My part-time work is usually 3-4 days, some on-line and some in-person, from 5:30pm-7:00pm. During the week, I’m usually in bed by 9:30pm and up by 6am. On the weekends, I’m usually asleep by 11pm and up around 8am. ‍I can be a social person, but I also enjoy a calm and quiet environment. I want my house to be a place where I can have people over, but not a place that’s constantly full of people. I’m open to the idea of my roommates hosting small parties - I would just like to know about these ahead of time. I’m open to getting to know each other; I’m not saying we have to be best friends, but I would enjoy doing things like occasionally going to concerts, sporting events, watching sports on TV, and hosting cook outs/dinner with friends. I like to keep common living spaces pretty clean. I do my dishes every day and put away my belongings when I get home from work. I’m open to the idea of a cleaning schedule to keep things organized and/or hiring a maid. I am looking for my own bedroom with a private bathroom, and I’m looking to move in soon. I am willing to pay from $2000-$2200 per month. I’m hoping to find a room in or near the Roxbury, Jamaica Plain, or Roslindale neighborhoods. I’m open to living with 1-4 other people. Ideally, the house would have a yard or at least a porch. If the bedrooms are sized differently enough to justify different prices, I’m happy staying in the larger or smaller room.
