A few details about myself-I’m 32, brand new to the area, originally from Oklahoma. I’m moving out here because my girlfriend is from here, and actually is a counselor at an elementary school in Waukegan. We’ve been together a couple years. Met on spades app, would see each other every month or so, while I traveled with my mom and was finishing school. We planned on me moving here when I finished school, I was close to finishing when she told me she was pregnant so I hurried up the timeline. I would move in with her, but as I’ve only met one of her kids briefly we both think it would be better I spend the next 7 months living close, but not with her, and gradually introducing myself into her family, before eventually moving in with her around the time the baby arrives( around 7 months). I don’t do drugs, or smoke. Drink occasionally, but have made a deal that I won’t while she can’t with me. I have a vehicle and plan to work part-time and as jobs around here aren’t hard to find start ASAP while I finish school, waiting tables I should be able to cover rent no problem with a little budgeting, but if not I’m lucky enough to have a very supportive family and my mom is fully on board to help should I need it. I have around 2 months of class left at the moment and will transition into full time work/job searching when it’s completed.
